Lisa Molloy is a leading Children's Book illustrator based in Leith, Edinburgh, where she can usually be found at her desk with her sketchbook and perennial cup of tea.  Lisa studied illustration at the Edinburgh College of Art and furthered her interest by specialising in children’s illustration with a Masters degree at the University of Hertfordshire, where she achieved a distinction. Her love of animals and nature inspires her to create painterly, colourful worlds with friendly and expressive characters. Her naive stylised work has soft textures and pencil line work which has attracted many of the leading Picture Book Publishers and Educational providers but her style is also extremely versatile. Recently Lisa was shortlisted for the Kelpies Illustration prize which was a fantastic experience and has brought her an even wider audience for her stunning style of work. Her clients continue to grow as does the topics and content she illustrates and with the guidance of the team at Lemonade she plans on this being only the beginning of her expanding journey!
